Sandpiper Coffee & Ice Cream

Sandpiper is a small coffee and ice cream counter on Marina Wynd, next door to the Boat House and steps from where the ferry lands. Mornings run on drip coffee, cold brew, and espresso drinks made with Java Estate Roasters coffee, with scones, muffins, and cinnamon rolls in the case for a grab-and-go breakfast.
As the day warms up, the line turns toward the ice cream, which comes from Tar Heel Creamery and is served by the scoop, blended into shakes, or packed by the pint and quart to take home. Smoothies, chai, and London Fogs cover the non-coffee crowd, and there is a pup cup on the chalkboard for the dog.

Golf cart rentals from a hut by the ferry landing: 4- and 6-passenger carts (some enclosed) by the day or longer, booked online and picked up when you arrive. Renters must be 21 with a license.
