Island Passage has sold clothing in and around Wilmington for more than 40 years, and its Bald Head Island store, a few doors down from the Maritime Market at 14 Maritime Way, is the biggest of its four shops. It dresses the whole family, with men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing and a women’s boutique inside.
The racks mix boutique labels like Free People, Farm Rio, and Z Supply with surf brands such as Roxy, Quiksilver, Billabong, and O’Neill, and there’s a large exclusive collection of Bald Head Island tees and sweatshirts that make easy souvenirs. You’ll know the store by the rocking chairs on its front porch.
