Bald Head Blues
Bald Head's own apparel brand since 2014: performance polos, button-downs, quarter zips, swim trunks, and hats, sold at its flagship store beside the Maritime Market.

Bald Head Blues started on the island in 2014, when Claude Pope III founded it with his father as a business partner, and its logo, a golf cart with a surfboard on the roof, has since turned up on polos at golf clubs far from Bald Head. The flagship store sits at 8 Maritime Way, right beside the Maritime Market, which the Pope family also owns.
The line is built for warm-weather golf and the stroll to dinner afterward: Albatross performance polos, Islander button-downs, quarter zips, shorts and swim trunks, plus hats, belts, and golf head covers. There’s a youth line for the kids, and collars and leashes for the dog who rode over on the ferry.
