East Beach Surf Shop moved in April 2025 from Harbour Village to 251 Edward Teach Extension, next to Jailhouse Provisions and Midway Coffee.

East Beach Surf Shop takes its name from the island’s surf beach, but you’ll find it mid-island now. In April 2025 it moved from its old spot in Harbour Village to 251 Edward Teach Extension, between Jailhouse Provisions and Midway Coffee. It’s a proper surf shop, with its own East Beach line alongside brands like Vissla, Katin, Rusty, and Sisstrevolution, plus sunscreen, sandals, hats, towels, and gifts.
Surfboards and paddleboards rent first come, first served during shop hours, and there are kayak rentals and tours too; for a booked outing, sister company Riverside Outdoor Recreation takes the reservation. Looking for the beach itself? Start with the island’s beaches.
