Experience Bald Head is a visitor guide to Bald Head Island, North Carolina, written and photographed by one person who loves the place. Every photo and every sound recording on this site was made on the island. The goal is simple: put the practical details of an unusual island (you arrive by ferry, you drive a golf cart, you slow down) in one clear, beautiful place.
The site is a work in progress. The interactive island map, the getting-here guide, the business directory, and the island soundscapes are all on the way. If something here is out of date or incorrect, please say so and it will be fixed.
